Editorial policy
Fresh News Review aims to make careful reading easier. We explain our reasoning, distinguish what a source reports from what it proves and correct errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and sourcing
We check factual statements against relevant source material and take care to describe what that material can support. When an article discusses a claim, we distinguish the claim from established information and note meaningful limits or uncertainty. Readers can contact us through the Contact page to flag an error or request clarification.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the usefulness and clarity of the publication. A partnership does not guarantee coverage or editorial approval, and commercial arrangements do not determine the conclusions of editorial material.
Corrections and updates
When we identify a material error, we correct it and make the change clear in the article where appropriate. We may update an article when relevant context changes; we aim not to make a correction silently when that would leave readers with a misleading impression.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; where relevant, the image or its caption will say so. Illustrations are not evidence for a news claim.
